About the LONG GROVE ARTS & MUSIC COUNCIL

The Long Grove Arts & Music Council is a not-for-profit corporation founded in 2006 by volunteers
dedicated to bringing a wide range of musical, visual, and performing arts to the Village of Long
Grove. Venues for events include the Towner Green, Buffalo Creek Park, Kildeer Countryside School
and Woodlawn Middle School.

The rain alternative location for all concerts is the Long Grove Community Chuch. If there is a threat of rain
signs will be posted at Towner Green and on this website.

In 2006 the LGAMC sponsored a series of seven “Concert in the Park” events. This season the
LGAMC is presenting twelve concerts with our kick-off starting on June 1 featuringthe Best of
Beans & Leaves. All "Concert in the Park" events are free of charge and concert goers are
encouraged to bring chairs and blankets to enjoy the air of a summer Sunday afternoon while listening
to wonderful music.

Concerts have included brass band, folk, blue grass, jazz, ethnic, classical along with many other genres of
performance. All shows are considered family shows where adults and children can enjoy each concert.

The LGAMC is dedicated to bringing our community closer together and to giving Long Grove
residents and the residents of neighboring communities a chance to discover the treats that can be found
right in our own back yard. Please note that the LGAMC relies exclusively on donations and the work of a
terrific group of volunteers, so all contributions are greatly appreciated.

LGAMC Board members include, Georgia Cawley, Clark Chaffee, Bob & Carolyn Denaro,
Michael Dvorak, Tobin Fraley, Dan Galardy, Denise Harnish, Reid Olson, Rachel Perkal,
and Connie Wachs.
