The Long Grove Arts & Music Council is a not-for-profit corporation founded in 2006 by volunteers dedicated to bringing a wide range of musical, visual, and performing arts to the Village of Long Grove. Venues for events have included Towner Green, Buffalo Creek Park, Kildeer Countryside School and now Fountain Square.
The rain alternative location for all concerts is the Long Grove Community House, located at 1100 Robert Coffin Road. If there is a threat of rain, signs will be posted at Fountain Square and on this website.
This season the LGAMC is presenting eight concerts with our kick-off starting on July 8th featuring a group new to Long Grove, Occidental Gypsy. All "Concert in the Park" events are free of charge and concert goers are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets to enjoy the air of a summer Sunday afternoon while listening to wonderful music.
Concerts have included brass band, folk, blue grass, jazz, ethnic, classical along with many other genres of performance. All shows are considered family shows where adults and children can enjoy each concert.
The LGAMC is dedicated to bringing our community closer together and to giving Long Grove residents and the residents of neighboring communities a chance to discover the treats that can be found right in our own back yard. Please note that the LGAMC relies exclusively on donations and the work of a terrific group of volunteers, so all contributions are greatly appreciated.
